Major European hydraulic landmark
Connecting communities via slow tourism
The Acquedotto Pugliese (Apulian Aqueduct), stretching from Caposele in Campania to the Salento peninsula in Puglia, is one of the most impressive hydraulic engineering works in Europe. It forms the backbone of the Valle d’Itria, crossing through municipalities such as Alberobello, Locorotondo, Noci, Putignano, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Ceglie Messapica, and Villa Castelli.
